Yellows, oranges and reds
The colourful twist of Mother Nature
Rain, wind and chilly temperatures
Everyone gathers inside
Homemade soup, fireplaces and fluffy blankets
The soothing effect of a warm infusion
Tea, coffee, what is it gonna be?
Looking back at those summer days
Struggling to stay in the moment
Overlooking what’s coming next
Knowing that with the power of nature
The leaves will for an instant be free
Until they land and peacefully wait for the end.

My day was brightened by this post. Reminds me of a song by one of my favorite singers…Loreena McKennitt. I will print this poem and read it whenever I need a ray of sunshine on a bleak midwinter’s day!
Thank you,
MP
Very nice poem indeed, Bella! You should title it ‘Fall’

Enjoy the fall….and I know you’re already looking forward to your trip to PR.
